Broccoli Cheddar Quiche

 

Broccoli Cheddar Quiche is a very popular dish in my house.  We like to eat it for breakfast with toast or tater tots.  


Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese
To Assemble:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees while you prepare the dish.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, mix the 6 eggs with the cup of milk.  (I use 1% milk.)  
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie pan. (I lightly grease my pan with butter.)
  • Add the cheese and broccoli to the egg mixture.
  • Sprinkle your seasonings on top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
Notes:
  • Broccoli - I microwave-cook a 10.8 oz. bag of frozen broccoli. I drain it on paper towels and use about 1 cup of the broccoli for this quiche.  I reserve the other portion of the broccoli for another recipe, such as Rainbow Pasta Salad.
