Welcome! In this post, I am sharing a recipe for a delicious wrap made with shredded chicken, broccoli, cheese, and a homemade ranch sauce. Not only does this recipe make a delicious dinner, it also makes an excellent cold work lunch or cold school lunch. Cold lunches are great because you don't lose precious break time standing in line waiting for the microwave!
Ingredients:
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 lb. chicken, cooked and shredded
- 2 cups of broccoli, cooked and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup sour cream
To Assemble the wrap:
- Grab a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Mix the ranch dressing and sour cream together to make a ranch sauce.
- Add your chicken to the ranch sauce and stir.
- Add your shredded cheese and broccoli to the bowl.
- Divide the mixture amongst your six tortillas.
- Roll up the tortillas and place them in an air-tight container. Chill them in the refrigerator.
Notes:
- Chicken - you can use rotisserie chicken or cook your own chicken in a slow cooker. Cooking your own chicken allows you to infuse it with your preferred flavors.
- Dressing - if you don't like ranch or sour cream, feel free to substitute your favorite dressing.
- Cheese - feel free to use any shredded cheese you like. I have used mozzarella, cheddar, Monterey, and so on. Also, you can use one slice of cheese per wrap if you prefer.
- Veggies - feel free to add extra veggies to your wraps. Do you like tomatoes? Onion?
Let me know if you make this recipe! Thank you for visiting.
